Combining several PDFs is useful when a submission, report or archive needs to be delivered as one file. The actual merge is simple; the part worth planning is the order and compatibility of the source files.
Decide the order before you upload
If page order matters, name or arrange your source files clearly. A naming scheme such as 01-cover.pdf, 02-resume.pdf, and 03-portfolio.pdf makes the intended sequence obvious.

- Text remains selectable where it was selectable before.
- Forms, bookmarks or other interactive elements still behave as required.
- The final file opens in your normal PDF viewer.
When a merge is not enough
If you need to remove pages, reorder individual pages or extract only selected pages, use the dedicated PDF page tools rather than repeatedly merging and splitting files.
The goal is a single, usable document—not simply the largest possible PDF containing every source file.
